Riverfest 

Windom's annual summer festival gives area residents and visitors the opportunity to start the summer season with a variety of activities for all ages..

The celebration is staged on the second full weekend
each June by the many volunteers that make-up
the Riverfest Committee.

In 2010, Riverfest will honor the 125th anniversary of the Windom Volunteer Fire Department.
The majority of  activities are planned for June 11 - 13.

5:30 p.m. - Walking Taco Fundraiser for the Windom
              Area Hospital Foundation - outside the Business,
              Arts & 
Recreation Center (BARC)

7:00 p.m. - Riverfest Royalty Pageant, sponsored by the
              Windom Women of Today at the BARC
              Auditorium

              2009 Miss Riverfest is Callie Syverson.
              Runner-Up, voted to be Most Photogenic
                   by the public, and chosen Miss Congenialty
                   by her fellow contestants is Rachel Taber.
              Little Miss Riverfest is Josie Alvstad.
