ALL CLASS REUNION SET FOR JULY 2010 A planning session for an all class reunion of graduates from Windom Area High School has been set for Wednesday, January 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Golden Wing Room of the The Eagles Club. ANYONE, whether or not a Windom High School, is welcome to attend and help with the planning for this event, which has been set for the weekend ofJuly 16-18, 2010. According to Chamber President Cheryl Hanson, a preliminary meeting had been held by Jean Fast and others who had worked on the 2000 All School Reunion. The group had set the date and made “reservations” with the Business, Arts and Recreation Center (BARC) and Windom Community Center for possible activities. Last week, the Board of Directors of the Windom Area Chamber of Commerce made the decision to serve as the administrative “headquarters” for the reunion, as had been thecase for the reunion held 10 years ago. “Volunteers are going to be the key to the success of the reunion,” said Hanson. “We need the input of graduates of all ages to share their ideas regarding the activities that they want to see included in the reunion weekend. So we are hoping for a good turnout for this meeting. Hors de oeuvres will be furnished.
